With so many strains to choose from, it can be difficult to know which strain is best for you, which is exactly why I wrote this thorough guide.

Yellow Vietnam is a kratom strain that offers multiple benefits. Yellow Vietnam should be used during the day, as taking it late in the evening or night may prevent you from falling asleep.

I'll share with you everything you need to know about Yellow Vietnam kratom based on personal experience, and the experiences of others. By the end, you will have made a definite answer regarding whether this strain is for you.

What Is Yellow Vietnam Kratom?

Allow me to provide you with a bit of necessary context. Kratom, also known as Mitragyna Speciosa, comes from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia, where the equatorial climate creates the perfect conditions for kratom to thrive.

Kratom is a tree that can grow up to 80 feet tall. Its leaves contain alkaloids which are responsible for producing many useful effects.

Kratom can be found in four color variations, including:

1. Red

2. Green

3. White

4. Yellow/gold

The colors are a result of drying and fermenting processes as well as the maturity stage in which the leaves were harvested.

Although no one knows for certain how the yellow color strain is made, many believe it is simply a red strain that has undergone a unique drying process. However, the topic is still up for debate in the kratom community.

Once the leaves are dried and processed, they're grounded into a fine powder which can be used as is or created into additional forms of kratom products.

How Much Yellow Vietnam Should I Use?

How much Yellow Vietnam you use is going to depend on certain factors like your weight, gender, and tolerance. And since I don't know anything about you, the best I can do is provide you with a good starting point based on weight.

By the way, if you're new to kratom, make sure not to use Yellow Vietnam twice in the same day, as that'll increase your chances of experiecing side effects.

Yellow Vietnam Kratom Side Effects

Kratom derives from the same family tree as coffee, and just like coffee, kratom can have negative side effects. However, from my experience, the side effects are more unpleasant when compared to those from caffeine.

The side effects can be eiter short-term, long-term or both. Hence, don't use Yellow Vietnam kratom irresponsibly. Only use it when you absolutely need it.

Short-Term

I've come to realize that shorm-term side effects are primarily caused for two reasons:

1. Not drinking enough water

2. Taking too much kratom

If you fail to drink a sufficient amount of water when using Yellow Vietnam, expect two outcomes:

1. Dry Mouth (cotton mouth)

2. Constipation

The first is much easier to fix. I just chugged a cup or two of water. However, when I experienced constipation, the issue was a bit more dire.

Like with a dry mouth, I drank lots of water, but unfortunately, the issue was not as easily reversed, as it took longer for the constipation to go away.

Do yourself a favor, and drink plenty of water when using Yellow Vietnam.

If you accidentally take too much Yellow Vietnam, you may experience the following:

1. Nausea

2. Vomit

I'm not proud to admit that on more than one occassion I have experienced nausea, and let me tell you, it feels horrible. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to make it go away.

Laying down and eating solid food (if you're not throwing up) will mitigate the side effects, but only slightly.

Nausea is always the first stage of Yellow Vietnam's side effects. However, if you took a really large quantity, you may also experience vomiting.

Fortunately, none of the side effects are lethal. They are just extremely unpleasant. Be very careful with your servings sizes if you want to avoid them.

Long-Term

Long term side effects are a direct cause of taking kratom consistently for extremely long periods, and although there is very little research regarding this topic, it is believed that doing so will result in damage to vital organs such as your kidneys and liver.

Only use kratom when you have to, and never recreationally.

What Does Yellow Vietnam Taste Like?

Yello Vietnam taste similar to green strains. In other words, bitter, and it has less earthy undertones than red strains.

In my opinion, and my friends' as well, Yellow Vietnam taste like matcha.

The powder is very fine. It's not crystallized like salt or sugar, and in fact, feels much softer.

How To Use Yellow Vietnam Kratom

Yellow Vietnam can be used in multiple ways, including tea, capsules, or the toss and wash. Each of said ways has their pros and cons.

Therefore, how you choose to use Yellow Vietnam is completely up to your preferences. Let's start with tea.

Tea

Pros:

- Kicks in super fast

- Potent results

Cons:

- Effects don't last as long

- Pungent bitter taste

Kratom tea is my least favorite way of using Yellow Vietnam. I'm a pretty busy person, and making tea is the most time consuming way of using kratom.

Coming from someone who doesn't mind the harsh taste and texture of the toss and wash, I find the flavor of tea to be very unpalatable.

However, if you enjoy tea, simply boil water and pour it into the container with your kratom inside. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes, filter out the powder, and enjoy!

Never boil water along with kratom, as that will destroy the alkaloids. To mitigate the taste, add honey or sugar.

Capsules

Pros:

- No bad flavors

Cons:

- Higher cost

- Takes the longest to kick in

- Effects are slightly less potent

Capsules are a very popular form of using Yellow Vietnam because it allows the user to bypass their taste buds.

However, keep in mind they're higher priced due to the extra labor and material required for manufacturing.

At Kratom Monkey, our capsules hold 0.7 grams of powder per capsule. They're made with vegan material to protect people with allergic reactions to animal products.

Toss & Wash

Pros:

- Kicks in fast

- Potent results

- Lowest cost

Cons:

- Extremely bitter taste

- Some people may not enjoy the powdery texture

This is my favorite way of using Yellow Vietnam, as it's fast and produces potent results.

However, many of my friends have been unable to tolerate the taste and texture. You'll simply have to try for yourself.

The toss and wash consists of taking a spoonful of powder, swirling it around your mouth with water, and gulping it down.

Make sure not to breathe when you have the powder in your mouth or you will experience a coughing frenzy.

The only thing I've found that helps with the taste is using cold water instead of temperature room. But in all honestly, it doesn't make the much of a difference.

How Long Does Yellow Vietnam Take To Kick In?

The total amount of time it takes you to feel Yellow Vietnam's initial effects is going to depend on how you decide to take it.

For example, a Yellow Vietnam tea is going to kick in faster than capsules. Therefore, take a look at the table below to get an idea of how fast each form of using kratom produces its effects.

What is Yellow Vietnam's Shelf Life?

I've stored kratom powder for as long as a year, and, to my surprise, I did not notice a reduction in the product's potency.

Therefore, I can safely claim that Yellow Vietnam's shelf life is one year. However, if you were to freeze Yellow Vietnam in an air tight container, I have no doubt it would last longer.

Is Yellow Vietnam Legal?

Yellow Vietnam is legal in the United States, but only under federal law. Technically speaking, it is unregulated, which means there are no federal laws which restrict or even address kratom.

However, that doesnt mean state and local governments haven't taken further action.

Yellow Vietnam, and kratom in general, is illegal in the following six states:

1. Alabama

2. Arkansas

3. Wisconsin

4. Indiana

5. Rhode Island

6. Vermont

It is not at all uncommon for cities or counties in states where kratom is legal to ban the product. Be very mindful of kratom laws, as they can drastically change with each local jurisdiction.
