Blue Magic Kratom Brand Review [2023 Update]
But is Blue Magic Kratom genuinely magical, or have we all fallen victim to a Mitragyna speciosa illusion? Keep reading to discover more about this vendor’s products, what kratom lovers think of them, and whether they provide decent bang for your buck.
Let’s start by getting to know the Blue Magic Kratom brand.
Who is Blue Magic Kratom?
Blue Magic Kratom is a self-proclaimed award-winning kratom vendor - although I could not establish what awards they have won. According to their website, Blue Magic Kratom launched in 2016 and has been making products from high-quality Mitragyna speciosa ever since.
The ‘Contact Us’ page infers that “Blue Magic” is the trade name for Hundreds Premium, LLC, a company with a physical address in Temecula, California. While worth noting, I could not find out much more about them.
Blue Magic Kratom offers wholesale pricing to businesses. However, you must supply your business name and resell permit before getting access to these prices - although this is standard stuff for a wholesaler.
Oddly, I found a “THC Disclaimer” on the website’s footer, stating that all products contain 0.3% THC or less. Blue Magic Kratom may have been selling hemp-based products at some point. But I couldn’t find any such products in their store in June 2023.
Blue Magic Kratom accepts payment via several credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay. They state that most orders ship within 24 to 48 hours and that orders over $99.99 come with free FedEx ground shipping. This sounds like pretty decent customer service!
Introducing the Blue Magic Kratom Collection
At first glance, Blue Magic Kratom looks to have a limited product selection. But upon opening each category, you are presented with numerous options. Let’s work through the vendor’s collection of kratom powder, capsules, enhanced capsules, and extract shots.
Kratom Powder
Authentic, versatile, and affordable - it can only be plain-leaf kratom powder! Blue Magic Kratom describes its powder as 100% natural and third-party lab-tested. I would not settle for anything less, but I am happy to see the assurance given.
Blue Magic Kratom stocks kratom powder in five vein colors, and they even have the high-potency Trainwreck blend. Sure, they don’t sell too many strains, but covering every vein color matters more regarding catering to the entire kratom market.
As per the product description, Blue Magic’s kratom powder tests at 1.6 to 1.9% mitragynine and less than 0.03% 7-hydroxymitragynine. This would make for a premium quality experience, presuming the lab results back these percentages up.
I adore Blue Magic Kratom’s packaging, which has a supernatural feel and an elephant emblazoned on the front. But more importantly, every pouch comes with a free scoop so you can enjoy consistently accurate powder dosages. Choose from several strains and bag sizes.
- Strains: Gold, Green Malay, Red Bali, Red Dragon, Red Vein, Trainwreck, White Maeng Da, White Thai, Yellow Borneo
- Bag Sizes: 30 grams, 60 grams, 90 grams, 120 grams, 150 grams, 250 grams, 500 grams, 1 kilogram
Kratom Capsules
Dislike kratom’s flavor? Need a convenient product for on-the-go? Want the same dose every single time? If you answered yes to one or more, you might prefer kratom capsules over loose powder. And you can purchase each powder strain from Blue Magic Kratom in capsule form!
Each capsule contains 600mg of high-quality kratom powder, which purportedly tests at the same alkaloid percentages. Blue Magic Kratom uses gelatin capsules, and although I could not find out what size these are, I would take an educated guess at size 00.
Blue Magic Kratom sells small batches of capsules in bottles and larger amounts in resealable bags. You can buy up to 1500 capsules at once, which works out to 900 grams of kratom powder. Not all vendors sell capsules in such quantities, so this impressed me.
- Strains: Gold, Green Malay, Red Bali, Red Dragon, Red Vein, Trainwreck, White Maeng Da, White Thai, Yellow Borneo
- Buying Options: 35-count, 75-count, 150-count, 300-count, 500-count, 750-count, 1000-count, 1500-count
Enhanced Kratom Capsules
Are you a daily, high-dose kratom user who has grown frustrated with standard-strength capsules? If so, you may be interested in Blue Magic Kratom’s enhanced capsules. Why swallow several caps per serving when you can get all you need from a single cap?
Enhanced kratom capsules are created by blending plain-leaf kratom powder with alkaloid-rich extract, boosting the overall effects while only slightly adding to the raw material. These capsules come in different strains and potencies - and there are several of them at Blue Magic Kratom.
2x Kratom Capsules: These Blue Magic Kratom capsules have a 2.9 to 3.5% mitragynine content and are approximately twice the strength of standard caps. Available in four strains: Bali, Maeng Da, Trainwreck, and White Thai. All strains are sold in 30, 60, and 120-count bottles.
5x Kratom Capsules: These capsules boast a mitragynine content of 8 to 9%, making them roughly five times more potent than regular kratom. Available in two strains: Bali and Maeng Da. Both strains are dispensed in 15, 30, 60, and 120-count bottles.
Gold Extract 100MIT Capsules: Go for gold with Blue Magic’s enhanced full-spectrum extract capsules. Each gelatin cap contains a whopping 100mg of mitragynine, making them much more intense than even the 5x Extract Capsules. Sold in 3 and 5-count packs.
Kratom Extract Shots
Blue Magic Kratom formulates two types of kratom extract shots, which it says are “stronger and better tasting than ever.” Both are made from full-spectrum kratom extract and come in 10ml bottles. These products are discreet, hassle-free, and ideal for getting your kratom on the go.
Gold: This product contains 110mg mitragynine and less than 0.03% 7-hydroxymitragynine. Blue Magic’s Gold Extract Shot has the equivalent of 7 to 8 grams of plain-leaf kratom powder. Many users will choose to split the Gold Shot into multiple servings.
Platinum: Blue Magic’s Platinum Extract Shot is 50% more potent and has a mighty 165mg of mitragynine. However, this product also has a 7-hydroxymitragynine level below 0.03%. Given the calculation made with the Gold, the Platinum likely works out to 11 or 12 grams of powder.
Is Blue Magic Kratom Legit?
Blue Magic Kratom dedicates an entire page to ‘Product Quality & Lab Tests’, which has a wealth of information. We learn that the vendor’s products are lab-tested for alkaloids, adulterants, contaminants, heavy metals, and biological safety.
This sounds good, but there weren’t any lab results to peruse on the Blue Magic Kratom website. Presuming these lab results exist, you will have to contact Hundreds Premium to see them or search for them via a lot number on the product packaging.
I am not entirely convinced since there isn’t any content on the website about how to find the lab results. But Blue Magic Kratom has a refund policy that allows the return of unopened products within seven days of receipt. So, you don’t need to go forward with them if you have doubts.
Unfortunately, as of June 2023, Blue Magic Kratom lacks the American Kratom Association's (AKA) GMP-qualified vendor certification. Therefore, we have no credible way of determining the quality of the company's manufacturing facilities.
Blue Magic Kratom Brand Reputation
Blue Magic Kratom has been in business since 2016, which is more than enough time to acquire a reputation. The vendor has not faced much scrutiny on Reddit, but I picked out a couple of posts to show you what the people are thinking.
In 2022, one Redditor brought up Blue Magic’s Kratom Extract Shot on r/Vendorsofkratom. According to u/craigerzzz333, this shot is the “most euphoric of all the ones at the head shops and tastes the least leafy.” However, u/ox45talls was far less complimentary!
Sadly, Blue Magic Kratom did not fare well in this vendor review by u/Dynsbull on r/bestkratomvendor. They gave the brand a 1-star rating, listing it a lowly 13th out of 14, arguing that the potency and quality “didn’t match the price”.
Are Blue Magic Kratom’s Products Worth the Money?
Judging by the lack of AKA certification and some of the disappointing reviews, Blue Magic Kratom is perhaps not the highest-quality vendor in the industry. But nor are they the most expensive brand out there. So, could they still be worth the money?
Blue Magic Kratom is not a bargain-basement brand, with 1 kilogram of kratom powder priced at $99.99, as of June 2023. I consider that a lot to pay for a product that comes with questions about the quality. However, Blue Magic’s capsules offer better value for money, with a 1500-count bag also available for $99.99.
The vendor doesn’t offer refunds on opened products. Therefore, if you are skeptical but curious to try, I recommend buying a small pouch of powder or a bottle of capsules. This way, if Blue Magic’s products don’t live up to your expected standards, it will have only cost you a few bucks.
Final Thoughts
Blue Magic Kratom promises much, and while it may deliver, I was left thinking this brand could be so much more. The vendor nails the marketing and has an exciting product selection. But some of the negative comments I read about them have given me pause for thought.
I think Blue Magic Kratom is making genuine kratom products. However, I would have more confidence in them if they were a GMP-qualified vendor and published lab results on their site.
