White Dragon Botanicals Brand Review [2023 Update]

Like all my kratom brand reviews, I want to touch upon the different products for sale, if they are legit, and how they have gone down in the kratom community. So, keep reading for an in-depth analysis of all things White Dragon Botanicals.

Let’s begin with a general overview of the brand.

White Dragon Botanicals LLC is a Texas-based company specializing in kratom, as well as hemp-derived CBD and delta-8. The vendor has a brick-and-mortar shop on Burnet Road in Austin, but White Dragon might have caught your eye through its online operations.

According to the About Us page, White Dragon Botanicals is owned by Chad and Becky and has been trading since 2017. The brand claims to sell superior kratom and takes pride in providing excellent customer service and value for money. These are principles I can get on board with!

White Dragon strikes me as authentic and passionate about botanicals. Rather than being perturbed by the decision to sell several herbal products, I think they have got things spot on. And I sense that every product in their store is there for a good reason.

White Dragon has a “Discount Bin,” which changes daily. For those still on the fence about kratom, this could be an opportunity to score some bargains and experiment with different products. They also state that “all online orders will be processed within 24 hours.”

I’m sure White Dragon has some first-class CBD and delta-8 products, but they aren’t for this review. We only have eyes, of course, for Mitragyna speciosa (kratom), and the vendor has plenty of that to keep us interested!

Let’s talk about White Dragon’s kratom powder, stem and vein, and extract products. The prices mentioned were correct at the time of writing (June 2023) but may have changed since.

• Note: This vendor also stocks kratom products from other brands, such as Kratom Extract Caramels from Hush Kratom. Since these aren’t from White Dragon, I won’t discuss them here.

White Dragon Botanicals has an eye-catching kratom powder collection. Sure, they have renowned classics like Bali and Maeng Da. However, they also sell lesser-known strains such as Boyan and G-46. It was refreshing to see this level of variety.

Most kratom powder products are exclusively leaf-based. But the stems and veins of Mitragyna speciosa trees also have value. And White Dragon Botanicals bring these benefits to the fore with their Stem & Vein Powder, which is made with a mix of different strains.

Many people say that kratom stem and vein generate different effects - if so, this is likely the result of a unique alkaloid composition. You may also notice a rougher and coarser texture with stem and vein compared to plain-leaf kratom powder. That is all part of the experience!

With this alkaloid-rich kratom product, you can get enough mitragynine from a single capsule. Hence, extract caps are even more convenient, discreet, and portable than standard kratom caps.

White Dragon Botanicals is a real company selling kratom products in Austin, Texas, and online. Having been around since 2017, they must be doing something right! But my confidence in their legitimacy is based on more than a hunch.

Lab testing is crucial to determining kratom's purity and potency - and White Dragon knows it. They say all products are tested twice for bacteria, heavy metals, molds, and other abnormalities. Hopefully, there is a mechanism to check these results.

The American Kratom Association (AKA) lists several brands as GMP-qualified vendors. White Dragon Botanicals is not one of them, although it doesn't affect my opinion of them. This is more of an expectation among larger kratom vendors.

Unfortunately, White Dragon's refund policy does not extend to opened products. But again, I am inclined to be generous. This is a small business, not one of the kratom industry's big beasts. And such policies are sometimes unviable for companies of this size.

They say the customer is always right, so let's investigate what kratom users think of White Dragon Botanicals. The first thing to note is that the vendor has a 4.9/5 Google rating from more than 130 reviews, although this covers both their kratom and CBD offerings. However, I unearthed some kratom-specific comments about the vendor on Reddit.

In a post on r/Austin, Redditor u/dreambelieve22 responded with White Dragon Botanicals to a question asking where to find “good deals on kratom.” The comment got four upvotes, so it appears that others agree.

An older post on the same subreddit also referenced the vendor. A now-deleted user said that White Dragon has a “great selection.” They also complimented the customer service.

One kilogram of kratom powder at White Dragon Botanicals will cost you a shade over $100, while a 1oz bag is priced at $8. These aren’t the lowest prices, but remember two things: 1) this is a small vendor, and 2) quality doesn’t come cheap.

When I checked, White Dragon had a flat rate shipping cost of $6.99, which is pretty reasonable. However, if their prices are out of your range, you may find something in their Discount Bin. Overall, though, I would say White Dragon’s products are worth it if you get something good.

White Dragon Botanicals is a classic case of a small vendor punching above its weight. The personal touch and commitment to excellent customer service stand them in good stead. But ultimately, it's the high-quality kratom products that keep people coming back for more.
