Moreover, Authentic Kratom appears genuinely passionate about the Mitragyna speciosa herb, having taken the trip to Indonesia to meet the farmers they work with. This suggests a dedication to getting things right and bringing the best quality kratom to customers in the U.S. and beyond.

I liked what I saw on the Authentic Kratom website. I found it effortless to use and appreciated the level of information provided. They also have a blog with educational content related to kratom strains, legality, and more.

As well as selling to individual customers, Authentic Kratom also operates a ‘Wholesale & Distribution Program’ for companies.

Authentic Kratom specializes in kratom powder, capsules, tablets, and extract products. Therefore, everybody from the intrigued first-timer to the daily consumer can get their kratom kicks from this brand. Let’s look in-depth at each of the product types.

Authentic Kratom manufactures three types of kratom tablets, all centered around the Maeng Da strain. Each tablet contains 0.8 to 1 gram, with a suggested serving of 2 to 4 capsules. That said, unlike with capsules, you can break the tabs up to fine-tune your dosage.

Authentic Kratom sounds like a legitimate vendor - but, of course, a brand needs more than a good name to earn that status! Thankfully, they have also taken the necessary steps to separate themselves from the inferior companies in the industry.

Firstly, we know that Authentic Kratom works from excellent manufacturing facilities because the American Kratom Association (AKA) lists them as a GMP-qualified vendor. And the rules require Authentic to face an annual audit to ensure this approval continues to have merit.

Secondly, the brand’s kratom products are lab tested. Product pages have a brief summary of the results, although you will need the lot number on the packaging to access the complete data. I am not worried about this since Authentic has batch-specific lab results.

The vendor has more than 4,500 product reviews, certified by the third-party company Yotpo. Hence, the reviews from verified buyers on Authentic Kratom are more credible than those on sites that don’t utilize such a system.

As of June 2023, Authentic Kratom has a 4.5/5 rating from the Yotpo-certified reviews. But it felt important to get some opinions from somewhere other than the Authentic Kratom website. I consider Reddit a worthwhile place to get a feel of a brand’s reputation.

Strangely for an AKA-certified and lab-tested vendor, I could not find any recent posts discussing Authentic Kratom. More concerningly, what I did discover was not particularly positive. 

Unfortunately, somebody on r/kratom found Authentic Kratom a “real letdown”. They expressed disappointment over both product and packaging quality. This 2014 post on r/kratom had mixed opinions, although some users said good things about Authentic Kratom. For instance, u/jeanniekini said, “The quality of kratom is one of my favorites.”

These posts provide food for thought, but little more than that, given how old they are. Furthermore, Authentic Kratom’s Yotpo-certified reviews help bolster its brand reputation.

I was struck by Authentic Kratom’s expensive prices. Even for a lab-tested, AKA-certified brand, asking almost $100 for 280 grams (10oz) of kratom powder is pushing it. And they charge $17.49 for a mere 60 capsules (30 to 36 grams of powder).

Authentic Kratom has a loyalty rewards program and often runs promotions and discounts so you can make savings. Moreover, the vendor offers free shipping with no minimum order requirement. This is fantastic and not something you see with many vendors.

But even when factoring in these perks, Authentic Kratom’s products remain very pricey. You can get better value with other brands that still provide the same quality assurances.

Authentic Kratom is a genuine vendor worthy of its ‘authentic’ name. And they have a fascinating product selection consisting of classics and rare strains. But while I am convinced their kratom is legit, I cannot get around the steep prices - for now, I will continue to shop elsewhere.
