King Kratom Brand Review [2023 Update]

It is fascinating to study the approaches of different kratom vendors. Some brands aim to stock every new product type and cash in on all the latest trends. Others prefer perfecting the tried and tested favorites - and there is no doubt King Kratom is one of them!

I will start with an introduction to King Kratom.

King Kratom is a well-known manufacturer of kratom powder and capsule extract products. The brand is seemingly owned by a company called ‘King’s Distribution’, but I could not uncover any more information. Nor could I work out where they are located.

All King Kratom products are centered around the same proprietary extract, based on a Mixed Vein Maeng Da strain. King’s extract is four times more potent than plain-leaf Maeng Da powder. This vendor does not make products with adulterants, chemicals, fillers, or synthetic ingredients.

Indeed, King Kratom is massive about product purity, which matters even more with kratom extracts. They value the wellness of customers and don’t cut corners during manufacturing. The American Kratom Association (AKA) agrees, having awarded them GMP-qualified vendor status.

You cannot buy King Kratom products from their website - the company is similar to Chief Kratom in that regard. They suggest contacting them for details on where to buy products. But a quick online search will reveal several stores selling King Kratom’s sought-after extracts.

Let’s discover more about the kratom powder and capsules manufactured by King Kratom, which the vendor describes as the ‘Royal Family’! I will explore how to use them and why they differ from the powders and capsules of other brands. 

Finely-ground kratom powder is a favorite among Mitragyna speciosa fans. And King Kratom’s Powder Extract promises to bring more purity and potency to your experience. This product is based on a Mixed Vein Maeng Da strain.

Kratom powder has several uses, some of which demand more effort than others. The ‘toss-and-wash’ method and brewing kratom tea (in a pot or with tea bags) are two options. But you could also create extracts, fill capsules, or make edibles with kratom powder.

However, King Kratom’s Powder Extract has the same downsides as other powdered products. Many people dislike kratom’s herby flavor, and preparing and measuring your dose can be time-consuming and messy. That said, kratom powder is cheaper than all other alternatives.

Remember that this kratom powder is four times stronger than a regular Maeng Da powder strain. Therefore, King Kratom’s 4oz Powder Extract is roughly equivalent in potency to a 16oz bag of plain-leaf powder. And you will only need 25% of your usual serving for the desired effect.

You can also buy King Kratom’s proprietary Maeng Da extract in capsule form. While this pushes the price up, you don’t need to worry about kratom’s flavor or dosing with consistency. Kratom capsules can also work well if you have a busy life and are often on the go.

The manufacturer offers its capsules in three bottle sizes. The packaging looks child-resistant, in line with recommendations from the AKA. I give kudos to any vendor that is serious about safety.

The King Kratom website didn’t mention the capsule type. So, I don’t know if they use gelatin or a plant-based substitute. However, the label indicates that a 20-ct bottle weighs 11 grams, suggesting each capsule contains around 500mg (0.5g) of King’s proprietary Maeng Da extract.

After factoring in the quadruple potency, I imagine one capsule is equivalent to around 2 grams of kratom powder. But this is a rough estimate based on the information available. You may wish to contact King Kratom for a precise calculation.

Some users cannot easily swallow several capsules per sitting. With King Kratom’s Extract Caps, you can enjoy high dosages while consuming only one-quarter of the capsules.

Bottle Sizes: 20 capsules, 60 capsules, 120 capsules

King Kratom is an authentic kratom vendor, even though they don’t sell products directly. The company has the AKA’s backing, and products are lab-tested before going to market.

King Kratom has stellar manufacturing and processing standards. But you don't need to take their word for it (or mine!). Having the AKA’s approval is a massive boon for King Kratom and vaults them into the top tier of kratom brands.

Becoming GMP-qualified is no easy task. Companies must meet strict standards on labeling, manufacturing, processing, storage, testing, and more. And vendors only receive the AKA’s seal of approval after passing a third-party audit. So, credit to King Kratom for acquiring that.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn’t publish third-party lab results online right now. Consider contacting King Kratom if you need to see these. Perhaps the product packaging has a link to the results, but this was not confirmed anywhere.

King Kratom reminds us that its products are all-natural and non-synthetic. They say you can trust that a product is authentic if it has the King Kratom logo on the packaging. However, this is no substitute for a third-party lab report.

Since King Kratom doesn’t sell products directly to customers, there is no refund policy. Any decision on refunds would be left to the companies stocking King’s products.

I struggled to find customer reviews for King Kratom’s powder and capsules, again due to these products not being available on their website. However, the brand is frequently discussed in the kratom corners of Reddit. Let’s get a feel for King’s brand reputation.

In a 2023 post on r/kratomreview101, Redditor u/thuglifeTyson mentioned trying King Kratom’s Extract Powder. “It was actually really good, but fairly expensive at $64.99 for a 4oz bag,” was their opinion. Redditor u/Fearless_Bullfrog_51 said they got a good deal on King Kratom.

King Kratom came up on r/smallbatchkratom in 2022, with u/tossmeafterusing asking if anyone had ever tried the brand. Some Redditors reported positive experiences, but others argued there are better value options at this price point.

Overall, King Kratom does pretty well on Reddit. While not everybody is a fan, enough people are saying good things about the manufacturer.

King Kratom has some Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MRSPs) on its website. As of June 2023, these are as follows:

I agree with some Redditors that there are better-value kratom products available. But many of these vendors are not GMP-qualified by the AKA. Many shoppers will happily pay a bit more for products with this accreditation.

Ultimately, it is up to the retailers selling King Kratom products to set the price. You might get a fantastic deal if you shop around. For instance, u/Fearless_Bullfrog_51 on Reddit managed to buy King Kratom Extract for $10.06 per oz with shipping included.

King Kratom is not your typical kratom brand. I am still unsure why some manufacturers don’t sell their own products to individual customers, but it must work for King Kratom!

The vendor has a small range, with only one kratom extract and two product types. But King Kratom has a quality over quantity mantra. And you cannot argue with this AKA-certified brand over that.
