Left Coast Kratom describes itself as a “boutique source” on its ‘About Us’ page. Superior product quality through lab testing, excellent customer service, and consumer education are all part of the experience. I am e approach.

Furthermore, Left Coast Kratom supports the industry by donating a percentage of every sale to kratom advocacy groups. And that sure is appreciated considering the threat to legal kratom at the federal and state level over the years.

The company is also on the American Kratom Association’s (AKA) list of GMP-qualified vendors. I will go into more detail in the ‘Is Left Coast Kratom Legit?’ section.

This brand keeps up with the latest trends. While kratom powder and capsules are still top priorities for Left Coast Kratom, they also stock chewable tablets, honey sticks, liquid kratom shots, and more. Let’s delve deeper into the perks of each product type and whether the vendor’s kratom delivers.

Kratom capsules are among my favorite product types. I can enjoy them anywhere without having to accurately measure my dose or grin and bear kratom’s bitter, earthy taste.

After seeing the size of Left Coast Kratom’s powder collection, I expected more in the capsule department. However, what they lack in strain variety they make up for in vein colors. Regardless of your kratom preferences, you should be able to find something suitable.

The ingredient lists state that Left Coast Kratom’s capsules are made of vegetable cellulose. And given that a 28-gram pack contains an estimated 45 capsules, I would guess they use size 00 caps, filling each with more than 600mg of powder. Choose from five strains.

I noted earlier that Left Coast Kratom is an AKA GMP-qualified vendor. This accolade is relevant to their manufacturing standards. Approved companies are confirmed by the AKA to uphold Good Manufacturing Practices. Participating vendors must also undergo an annual audit.

While being AKA GMP-qualified tells us nothing specific about Left Coast Kratom’s products, it says plenty about the brand’s values. It shows respect for both themselves and those who shop with them.

Left Coast Kratom is also a member of the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA). The AHPA is an advocacy group pushing for a sensible legal approach to herbal products. Left Coast Kratom’s membership is more evidence of the company’s commitment to kratom advocacy.

I am happy that Left Coast Kratom is a genuine vendor that believes in its mission to improve industry standards. They are serious about third-party testing - and acquiring the AKA certification badge was the icing on the cake.

Left Coast Kratom’s product review section is powered by Yotpo. This system is preferable to managing the reviews themselves - or worse, not accepting any! Many verified buyers have left glowing five-star reviews for everything from kratom powder to honey sticks.

Oddly for an AKA-certified vendor, there wasn’t much about Left Coast Kratom on Reddit. I would have expected such a well-known and highly-rated brand to be the subject of frequent discussion. But here is what I found.

The company came up on the r/KratomVendor subreddit in 2020. While some were skeptical, u/scary_logic praised Left Coast Kratom’s Enhanced Bali and declared the brand “great for the enhanced stuff.”

They also got a mention on r/kratomreview101 in 2023 - u/AtmosphereHeavy1938 described them as “really good”. However, that was pretty much the extent of the conversation.

Sometimes, it is about what you don’t see. Left Coast Kratom doesn’t come in for severe criticism on the independent forums. If a brand of such stature was manufacturing low-quality products, people would probably be shouting from the rooftops.

Left Coast Kratom products aren’t cheap, which puts added scrutiny on quality. Thankfully, this vendor’s kratom is seemingly the real deal, so there is an argument you get what you pay for.

But I recognize that $149.99 for a bulk kilo of kratom powder or $139.99 for 455 grams of capsules could be out of your price range. Even with discounts and Left Coast Kratom’s loyalty program, they remain a costly vendor.

However, you get free same-day shipping for orders over $49 and free next-day delivery if you spend more than $299. Hefty shipping costs can turn a reasonably-priced vendor into an expensive one - I am glad that doesn’t happen with Left Coast Kratom.

Overall, I think there is better value kratom on the market. But Left Coast Kratom’s prices aren’t outrageous, given the quality assurances. Whether they are worth the money depends on your situation.

Left Coast Kratom is a decent vendor with ethical motives. The company is bringing an array of premium kratom products to market and is more transparent than most. However, if you want value for money, your search perhaps won’t end here.
