Sabai Kratom Brand Review [2023 Update]
I will answer that by examining all aspects of Sabai Kratom. Keep reading to learn more about the vendor’s products, reputation, and legitimacy. Let’s start with a brand introduction.
About Sabai Kratom
Sabai Kratom was established as a small startup in 2017 and trades under the name of Sabai Sabai Botanicals Ltd. The company is based in Flagstaff, Arizona, and markets kratom products to individual customers and businesses.
Sabai Kratom expresses a desire to put “customers above profits” and offer fresh, premium kratom at affordable prices. Sure, these are relatively generic ambitions, but it is nice to see the team recognizes what really matters.
Interestingly, Sabai Kratom prides itself on quality control and avoiding plantation-based farming. The company works with an independent Indonesian-based supplier committed to organic kratom farming. This apparently holds the key to the vendor’s superior product quality.
Sabai lists customer service and satisfaction as top priorities, although they do not currently offer refunds on opened products. Sabai accepts payment via all major credit cards, in addition to Stripe and PayPal.

Kratom powder and capsules make up most of the Sabai Kratom range - and they have dozens of strains available. And if you aren’t sure what to go for, they have Variety Packs, too. Sabai also stocks Mitragyna hirsuta, a niche kratom alternative.
Here’s what you need to know about Sabai Kratom’s product. All prices were correct at the time of writing.
Kratom Powder
The Sabai Kratom store has a variety of red, yellow, white, and green vein kratom powder strains. Products contain pure Mitragyna speciosa with the stems and veins removed, giving the powder a fine, floury texture.
Sabai uses resealable, opaque, and airtight bags, which will keep the kratom powder fresh and preserve the beneficial alkaloids. They have also uploaded photos so you know what the powder looks like before buying. Let’s run through a few of the strains you can choose from.
- Strains: Green Jong Kong, Green Maeng Da, Green Malay, Red Bali, Red Dragon, Red Thai, White Borneo, White Hulu, White Maeng Da, Yellow Hulu Kapuas, Yellow Vietnam, and more!
- Bag Sizes: 1 ounce, 100 grams, 250 grams, 500 grams, 1000 grams (1 kilogram)
Sabai’s Kratom Powder section also has a category called ‘Mandy’s Mixes’, which consists of blends. For instance, the Arizona Snow powder is made up of White Borneo, White Elephant, White Hulu, White Maeng Da, and Super White. You may find something of interest here.
Kratom Capsules
Kratom capsules are more convenient but more expensive than kratom powder. However, Sabai knows that demand for these is high among people who detest kratom’s flavor and want an easy-to-consume product. The vendor stocks various green, red, white, and yellow vein caps.
Sabai Kratom fills each 00-size cap with roughly 500mg of powder - this makes the math easy, with 10 capsules equal to 5 grams of kratom. But I saw nothing regarding the capsule material, so I don’t know if Sabai goes with gelatin or a plant-based alternative.
- Strains: Green Horn, Green Hulu, Green Jong Kong, Red Bentuangie, Red Gold, Red Maeng Da, White Borneo, White Maeng Da, Yellow Kapuas, Yellow Maeng Da, and more!
- Bag Sizes: 50 capsules, 100 capsules, 250 capsules, 500 capsules
Sabai offers several of its kratom blends (i.e. Mandy’s Mixes) in capsule form, too. Not all vendors sell blended capsules, so this is a nice touch.
Variety Packs
Variety Packs are ideal for kratom novices unsure where to begin. Sabai Kratom has a selection of these, with the 3oz Sampler Pack perhaps the best choice for first-timers.
However, more experienced kratom users could still benefit from buying a Variety Pack. You can purchase 1 kilogram of powder (divided into four 250-gram bags of your preference) for roughly the same amount as 1 kilo of a single strain. So, this is perfect if you like taking different kratoms.
Mitragyna Hirsuta
The bad news: kratom is illegal in six states. The good news: Mitragyna hirsuta is an excellent alternative. As the name suggests, Mitragyna hirsuta is from the same botanical family as Mitragyna speciosa (kratom), and you can purchase the herb from Sabai Kratom.
Mitraphylline is the main compound in Mitragyna hirsuta. And like mitragynine, the primary substance in kratom, mitraphylline is an indole alkaloid, hence why you can expect similar effects. However, research suggests Mitragyna hirsuta is much less potent than kratom.
But if you want something milder or cannot legally buy kratom in your area, Mitragyna hirsuta might appeal. Sabai Kratom prices it similarly to kratom powder and sells it in various quantities.
- Bag Sizes: 1 ounce, 100 grams, 250 grams, 500 grams, 1 kilogram
Is Sabai Kratom Legit?
Sabai Kratom could be perfectly legit, but they don’t appear as transparent as some vendors. Despite the chatter about quality control and lab certification, I couldn’t find any lab results on their site. I guess orders may come with links to certificates of analysis (COAs).
The restrictive refund policy is not encouraging. Since opened products are not eligible for refund, the “30-day satisfaction guarantee” will be meaningless for many. Here’s the bottom line: if you don’t like Sabai’s kratom, you aren’t getting your money back.
Moreover, there is no mention of Sabai Kratom on the American Kratom Association’s (AKA) GMP-qualified vendors page. This goes down as another area where the company lacks independent approval.
Sabai could be selling the best kratom products in the United States. But if that were the case, you would think they would prove it at every opportunity. I would be more confident in them if they published third-party COAs and had a refund policy that allowed you to try the products.
Sabai Kratom Brand Reputation
Finding out people’s opinions is vital to any kratom brand analysis. Reddit is often good for this since most vendors have been discussed at some point.
In a post on r/Vendorsofkratom, Redditor u/OSUPokesfan4ever suggested that Sabai Kratom doesn’t get enough attention for its “very good capsules.” They said the effects were enough for them to tell that Sabai’s kratom was of good quality.
I didn’t uncover much else of note, but the absence of negative stories says something. If Sabai Kratom wasn’t the real deal, they would almost definitely be coming in for criticism.
Are Sabai Kratom’s Products Worth the Money?
High-quality kratom comes at a cost, and Sabai’s prices are not the lowest. As of June 2023, they charge more than $100 for a kilo of kratom powder, which is quite a lot for a vendor without AKA accreditation. The company’s kratom capsules are also pretty pricey.
That said, you won’t get any nasty shocks at the checkout. Orders over $90 come with free USPS Priority Mail shipping. And I could not see any other additional charges. So, Sabai Kratom is more affordable than it may look at first glance.
Given the limited refund policy, you might want to start with a small order. This is a low-risk way of sampling Sabai’s kratom - you can always buy more the next time if it hits nicely.
Final Thoughts
I think Sabai Kratom is a solid vendor. I think they could improve on independent approval and transparency, but not all businesses cannot always do what larger companies take for granted. Ultimately, Sabai Kratom must be getting plenty right to still be trading in 2023.
