Supernatural Botanicals is a California-based company trading in kratom, hemp-derived products (i.e., CBD, delta-8, delta-10), and more. The vendor is headquartered in Torrance, CA, and has an online shop that caters to individual buyers and businesses.

Supernatural Botanicals has four key principles: respect for autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice. They also have strict manufacturing practices. This ensures customers get access to the purest and highest quality products.

The vendor is proud of its diverse product range and ultra-clean extraction processes. And they use a dual testing and certification system (in-house and third-party testing) to affirm product strength, purity, and consistency.

Supernatural Botanicals is socially aware and realizes the need for sustainable environmental practices. The company has also identified the most reliable suppliers, rather than sourcing kratom from anywhere that sells it.

Based on the brand’s About Us page, Supernatural Botanicals knows its stuff. Legit products, rapid shipping, and affordable prices are essential for any vendor hoping for success. This company certainly talks the talk, but does it walk the walk?

I mentioned that kratom is one of many products for sale at Supernatural Botanicals. But the vendor’s CBD and delta-8 goods are beyond the scope of this review. I want to focus on their kratom powders, capsules, tablets, tinctures, and extracts.

The Supernatural Botanicals store boasts over 50 kratom powder strains, from slow reds to fast whites. They even stock blended yellow vein strains and alkaloid-rich powders like Trainwreck. It is a massive collection that should keep all types of kratom users happy.

Each strain comes with a unique product description. For example, Supernatural states where Yellow Borneo comes from and how it is made. But unlike some vendors, they don’t go into detail about the likely effects. They may be playing it safe from a legal point of view.

The brand’s kratom powders are finely ground for a smooth and consistent texture. And they use vacuum bags with a ziplock seal to keep the powder fresh. This is handy if you buy a big bag to consume over many weeks.

I spotted more than 20 kratom capsule products in the Supernatural Botanicals shop. While smaller than the vendor’s powder range, there is plenty of vein variety, with green, gold, red, and white vein kratom capsules all available.

Supernatural uses 00 and 000-size capsules, filling them with 500mg (0.5 grams) and 800mg (0.8 grams) of kratom powder. But I found nothing on the capsule material. The caps contain several active alkaloids, including mitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine, and speciogynine.

The company also offers various “packs” of capsules. For example, the “Kratom Energy Pack” consists of three 50-capsule bottles and the following strains: Green Maeng Da, Green Sumatra, and Super Green Malay. You might like these if you haven’t yet found a favorite strain.

Not everyone enjoys taking 00 and 000-size capsules. Some find the bulky shells tough to swallow, even with a glass of water. If that describes you, but kratom powder isn’t your thing, the vendor’s Super Kratom Tablets might be your best bet.

With 750mg (0.75 grams) of kratom per tablet, these are of similar strength to Supernatural’s 000-size kratom capsules. The tablets are non-GMO and gluten-free and perfect for precise dosing. And unlike with capsules, you can break up kratom tablets into smaller servings.

This Supernatural Botanicals product is easy to use wherever you are - simply swallow with a glass of water. Kratom tablets are also known for fast-acting effects, which is not typically the case with capsules. Supernatural sells kratom tablets in 50-count packs and nine strains.

Supernatural Botanicals sells kratom tinctures in various sizes and flavors for sale. The vendor also stocks tinctures from other brands, including MIT45 and OPMS Kratom. But I will concentrate on their own-brand offerings.

Supernatural uses a full-spectrum extract made with red, white, and green vein kratom. The complex blend makes for a mixture of energy and enjoyment. And with the active alkaloids from 100 grams of kratom leaves, you can expect intense effects, too.

Like all kratom tinctures, this product is suited to on-the-go use. You can take it under the tongue or add some to a beverage to dilute the taste. Supernatural’s Full-Spectrum Kratom Tincture contains kratom extract, glycerin, water, and citric acid and has a 6ml suggested serving size.

Supernatural Botanicals has an array of kratom extracts, from enhanced powders to fruity gummies. Once again, the range is made up of own-brand products and extracts from other companies, including Hush Kratom. Let’s focus on two kratom extracts from Supernatural.

Kratom 15x Extract Powder: The vendor’s kratom extract powder is 15 times more potent than plain-leaf kratom powder. You can use it to enhance your regular powder dosage. This product is available in three strains (red, white, and green) and three bag sizes (10, 30, and 50 grams).

Kratom 20x Extract Capsules: Supernatural uses the Sulawesi strain in its 20x Kratom Extract Capsules. Each 000-size capsule contains between 800mg and 1g of enhanced powder, made with a blend of red, green, white, and yellow Sulawesi kratom. Sold in a 50-count bottle.

According to Crunchbase, Supernatural Botanicals was established in 2013. A decade in the herbal industry suggests they are a legit vendor. But there is a difference between operating as a genuine company and selling premium kratom products.

Supernatural’s claims on third-party lab testing need some clarity. As of July 2023, the most recent lab report on their ‘Lab Testing & Quality Control’ page is from 2021.

However, the company says that every kratom batch is tested. Perhaps they supply a third-party certificate of analysis (COA) with your order. If not, they might provide them if you contact customer service. I hope they do one or the other.

Supernatural Botanicals is not yet an American Kratom Association (AKA) GMP-qualified vendor. That said, the brand stocks products from companies that are, such as MIT45 and Hush Kratom. Being GMP-qualified would add credibility to Supernatural’s manufacturing processes.

Supernatural offers a 100% money-back guarantee. However, further investigation of the return policy reveals flaws. Non-satisfactory products “must be unopened” to be eligible for a refund or exchange. But how can you tell if it is non-satisfactory if you are not allowed to try it?

I turned to Reddit to learn more about Supernatural’s brand reputation. Yet I only found a handful of posts, which is odd for a well-established vendor trading in kratom and CBD.

A now-deleted Redditor left a comment about Supernatural Botanicals in a thread on r/Vendorsofkratom. “They got good quality and great customer service but it’s just way too much money,” they said, referring to the $175 price for one kilogram of kratom powder.

In 2019, u/jennicute mentioned Supernatural Botanicals in a post on r/kratom. They had a positive experience with the Super Green Malay strain. It seemed to lift their mood and energy while delivering a slight euphoric effect. But I found little else of interest. I sense that the vendor has high-quality kratom. However, the high prices may be a deterrent for some shoppers.

Supernatural Botanicals is an expensive kratom brand, with one kilogram of powder now priced at $179.95. Even 1oz (28 grams) costs a hefty $11.95. The vendor’s kratom capsules are costly, too, with a 50-count bottle priced at roughly $20.

I cannot see anything to justify these sky-high prices. Supernatural Botanicals is more expensive than many AKA-certified vendors. And with no refunds for opened kratom products, the company’s return policy is also inferior to that of some of its competitors.

On the plus side, Supernatural Botanicals offers free shipping on orders over $50. They also offer more affordable Kratom Sampler Packs if you don’t feel like dropping three figures on an order. Even so, I think there are better-value kratom brands in the industry.

Supernatural Botanicals strikes me as a genuine kratom vendor. They have a thorough selection to suit kratom users of all desires. But I cannot get around the steep prices. They would be easier to justify if the brand posted lab results more often and sought AKA accreditation.
