Front Range Kratom Brand Review [2023 Update]

There have been upsides and downsides to kratom’s boom in the United States. The good news is that there are more vendors than ever; the bad news is that many of these companies are underwhelming or worse. So, where does Front Range Kratom fit into the equation?

I appreciate you checking out this brand review! As always when putting a kratom vendor under the microscope, I will examine this company’s mission, as well as its prices, legitimacy, and reputation. All these aspects are critical for an honest and detailed analysis.

Let’s start by getting better acquainted with Front Range Kratom.

Front Range Kratom (FRK) is a Colorado-based kratom vendor with an online store and a physical shop in Aurora. The FRK logo suggests the company sells kratom and CBD products. I would not say it is common for a retailer to sell both, but it is not unusual, either.

FRK states that “kratom is not for human consumption”. While this sounds odd, this is simply the vendor ensuring it doesn’t fall foul of local laws. FRK’s kratom is much like any other on the market. Moreover, they claim to source kratom by working directly with customers.

FRK does not have the most sophisticated and stylish website. However, it has a practical design and is easy to navigate. They have a blog coming soon and a newsletter packed with deals, discounts, and the latest store news.

According to the FRK website, this retailer accepts Visa, Mastercard, and most major credit cards. There is also an option to pay via Zelle. Or you can contact them for alternate payment methods. The vendor limits sales to U.S. residents within the United States and only ships to areas where kratom is legal.

FRK caters to various Mitragyna speciosa tastes with its range of kratom powders, capsules, and extracts. Let’s check out these products now. Any prices mentioned in this review were accurate at the time of writing (July 2023). 

FRK’s online store features a collection of plain-leaf kratom powder strains and house blends. These are split into seven categories: Premium, Green, Red, White, Gold & Yellow, Chocolate, and House Blends. You can also buy ‘Mix & Match’ half-kilos and kilos.

Unfortunately, FRK is unable to provide much information about the strains. Some vendors describe the characteristics and offer directions for use. I think legal considerations may be stopping them from saying more about products. This is a shame but understandable.

Strains: Gold Bali, Gold Sumatra, Green Borneo, Green Horn, Green Malay, Red Danpar, Red Devil, Red Maeng Da, White Ori, White Papau, White Thai, Yellow Borneo, Yellow Vietnam, and more

Bag Sizes: 1oz, 3oz, 6oz, ½ kilogram (500 grams), 1 kilogram (1000 grams)

However, there are some noteworthy details on the House Blends.

Blue Boost: A combination of every regular FRK green and white vein strain. Equal amounts of each.

Bumblebee Fuzz: This blend boasts all of FRK’s red and white kratom strains in equal measures.

Orange Goblin: FRK’s red and green vein kratom strains come together in this high-quality blend.

Super Blue: This kratom powder blend combines all of FRK’s premium green and white vein strains.

Trainwreck: A favorite of many kratom vendors, the Trainwreck consists of red, white, and green vein strains. FRK uses equal amounts of its regular strains for this one.

I note that FRK stocks own-brand kratom capsules as well as capsules from MIT45 and Nature’s Best. However, we are only interested in FRK’s offerings, which include red, white, and green vein super strains.

Annoyingly, there is some crucial information missing. We know the kratom capsules come in 60-count bottles, but there is nothing on the capsule material (i.e., gelatin or plant-based) or the amount of kratom powder within each capsule.

I would not buy kratom capsules without these details, as it would be difficult to accurately gauge the dosage. Hopefully, FRK can provide this vital capsule info upon request.

Strains: Super Green Borneo, Super Green Maeng Da, Super Green Thai, Super Red Borneo, Super Red Maeng Da, Super Red Thai, Super White Borneo, Super White Maeng Da, and more

FRK stocks an array of kratom extracts, including own-brand products and extracts from K-Tropix, Nava Leaf, MIT45, and Mitra 9. Once again, we will focus on the FRK range.

Liquid Kratom Extracts: Experience the potent effects of liquid kratom with an extract product from FRK. Each bottle contains 110mg of mitragynine. FRK’s Liquid Kratom Extracts are sold in three flavors: Original, Butterscotch, and Coffee. This product is not strain-specific.

Kratom Extract Capsules: FRK’s Kratom Extract Capsules are physically smaller than the vendor’s plain-leaf powder capsules. But they pack a hefty punch whether you choose the 15 or 30mg strength. FRK’s Extract Capsules are sold separately and are not strain-specific.

Kratom Gummies: Add flavor to your kratom sessions with these fruity and sugary gummies from FRK. Each edible contains 15mg of kratom extract. This is not a strain-specific product. FRK’s Kratom Gummies are sold individually and priced at $1.56 per gummy. Available in five flavors: Cherry Lime, Green Tea, Orange, Peach, Tropical

FRK’s brick-and-mortar shop in Aurora, CO, gives the vendor a sense of legitimacy. However, a kratom retailer needs more than that to be seen as credible and trustworthy.

The FRK website homepage has a line about how all products are third-party tested. Yet I could not find any third-party certificates of analysis (COAs) when I searched. Consider contacting FRK directly to ask if you can see them before placing an order.

We cannot be sure of the vendor’s manufacturing standards. FRK is not an American Kratom Association (AKA) GMP-qualified vendor. I wasn’t expecting them to be, and it is not necessarily a red flag. But it would be good to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes.

FRK has a four-word Return Policy at the bottom of its website: All sales are final. So, if you purchase from this vendor but don’t like your order, you won’t be getting your money back.

I recognize that FRK is a small retailer and not one of the kratom world’s big names. Therefore, I am happy to give them some leeway. This looks like a legit brand, but they could brush up in some areas.

As of July 2023, FRK’s store in Aurora, CO, has a 4.7/5 rating on Google from 148 reviews. This near-flawless rating has come about through high-quality kratom, affordable prices, and knowledgeable staff.

I would typically draw upon some comments from Reddit in this section. But unusually, I could not find any threads discussing FRK. However, I did spot some reviews on Yelp - FRK currently has a 4.5 rating from 16 reviews.

Joseph O said, “Super friendly and informative service! Grant was very helpful and treated me like family.” This comment fits with others that have complimented FRK’s customer service.

“Pure, clean, very good kratom,” said Rachel A. “And because they sell a high-quality product, I am using less,” she added. FRK’s customer service also received another thumbs-up.

Indeed, I only found one negative review, which wasn’t product-related. So, it is not worth mentioning here. Most shoppers seem to have an excellent time with FRK.

FRK charges $124.80 or $145.60 for one kilogram of kratom powder, depending on whether you buy a regular or premium strain. This price differential is more pronounced in smaller amounts, with 1oz of powder costing $10.40 or $15.60.

I like that FRK offers kratom extract capsules and gummies individually. However, this means you cannot reduce the cost per item with larger orders. Similarly, FRK only sells standard capsules in one size (60-count bottle), which they price at over $30.

As of July 2023, FRK provides free FedEx shipping on some orders. I presume there is a minimum order requirement, but I could not discover what it is.

Going by the customer reviews, FRK’s kratom is high-quality enough that they still offer value for money at these prices. However, those wanting to see COAs in advance might not be prepared to spend this much.

Front Range Kratom is a Colorado-based vendor with a nationwide reach and a loyal customer base. This company’s online kratom store has a varied collection and a product for everybody.

Front Range Kratom’s fans rave about this brand, so they must have some world-class kratom - but their prices may be too high for some people. The vendor would also benefit from more product testing transparency.
