We all want pure, fresh, and potent kratom. Unfortunately, not every vendor can supply it, and working out who to trust with your money and well-being is easier said than done. Kraoma is an established and experienced kratom brand - but are they any good?

Let’s begin with some introductory information about Kraoma. 

Kraoma is a prominent kratom vendor headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company is officially known as Kraoma LLC. According to Kraoma’s About Us page, the business was founded by “Dan” in 2014, who had benefited from kratom but was unhappy with the state of the industry.

Dan was frustrated by sub-par products, premium prices, and slow shipping. Rather than sitting around and complaining to anybody who would listen, Dan took it upon himself to do things better. And with it, Kraoma was born!

Kraoma’s values include integrity, honesty, ethics, genuine interactions, and providing value for money. The brand only has eyes for fresh, all-natural, and ethically-sourced kratom, which they acquire from farmers in Indonesia and Malaysia. They are also big on sustainable harvesting.

Kraoma has high standards and claims only four farms from over 40 could deliver clean and potent kratom on a consistent and reliable basis. The company also cuts out the middleman, favoring a direct line of communication with farmers. And frankly, it is necessary.

Good customer service and a satisfying shopping experience are evidently priorities for Kraoma. The vendor offers free same-day shipping, throws in free samples with every order, and has a loyalty program where customers can collect points and earn rewards.

As of July 2023, Kraoma’s product range consists entirely of kratom powder. But the vendor’s extensive selection boasts plenty of sought-after strains and hidden gems. Let’s delve deeper into Kraoma’s kratom powder and your buying options. Any prices given were correct at the time of writing. 

Kraoma covers all bases with a mixture of green, red, white, and yellow vein kratom powder strains. The vendor describes its powder as premium quality, fresh, potent, and 100% pure. Products are made with kratom leaves, but not the stems and veins of the plant.

I like how Kraoma hints at the effects of some powders. For instance, Green Kali is called “Joyful Kraoma” while Red Thai is labeled “Leisure Kraoma.” Companies are restricted in what they can say about products, so this is a neat marketing strategy.

Kraoma posts photos of their kratom powder, along with thorough product descriptions. They sell strains in several bag sizes, but it looks like some options are not always available. The kratom powder is chemical-free and does not contain dust, extenders, or artificial substances.

Prices also vary depending on the strain. I saw 1 kilogram of White Maeng Da for $149 and the same quantity of Red Bali for $129. Kraoma distinguishes between ‘Premium Strains’ and ‘Top Shelf Strains’, which perhaps explains why.

The kratom is checked for salmonella, E. coli, viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, and more. And if Kraoma isn’t 100% convinced, the kratom isn't put on the market. The lab results for the vendor’s Top Shelf and Premium Kratom are published online. When I checked Kraoma’s website in July 2023, the links took me to certificates of analysis (COAs) from 2022. They could improve by updating these more frequently.

Kraoma’s About Us page states that the brand is working to become one of the American Kratom Association’s (AKA) GMP-qualified vendors. This would be another string to the company’s already impressive bow!

Kraoma is a proud member of the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA). This organization is committed to raising awareness and advocating for herbs such as kratom. It is encouraging to see Kraoma playing an active role in the kratom community.

Now for the return policy. Kraoma offers exchanges, store credits, and refunds on a case-by-case basis, which I respect. Crucially, you can send back opened kratom powder if at least 80% of the product is remaining in the original packaging. That is pretty much as good as it gets.

I would rate Kraoma as above average on legitimacy. This vendor is fairly transparent and backs up its talk on customer satisfaction.

Kraoma’s kratom products have been reviewed thousands of times by verified owners - most customers give the vendor a 5-star rating. However, these reviews are on the Kraoma website, and there is no sign these are independently authenticated.

Unsurprisingly for a well-established and patronized brand, Kraoma has come up in conversation on Reddit. I have picked out a few of the more interesting comments - but unfortunately, most posts about Kraoma are from years ago.

In 2016, u/mrthalo described Kraoma’s quality as “not so great” in a thread on r/Vendorsofkratom. Redditor u/kratomislove agreed with their analysis, saying, "It does feel low quality.”

However, u/caseyizzle gave Kraoma an excellent review on the same subreddit in the same year. They enjoyed the Red Bali and Yellow Bali strains, and while admitting that Kraoma is a little expensive, they said it is a “nice treat once in a while to order some of their consistently quality stuff.”

These posts are from so long ago that the praise and criticism may no longer apply. But it speaks to the mixed opinions people have on Kraoma. However, that is inevitable with every kratom brand to some extent. 

At $129 and $149 per kilo, Kraoma's Premium and Top Shelf kratom powder strains are rather pricey. And the vendor typically charges between $14.99 and $19.99 for its smallest kratom powder pouches (60g). But you might be okay with paying more for third-party tested kratom.

Free same-day shipping and samples with every order help make Kraoma better value for money. Yet this is still an expensive vendor. I have seen AKA-certified kratom brands that charge less for products. So, there are certainly more affordable options around.

Ultimately, it comes down to consistency. If every batch of Kraoma’s kratom powder delivers, you might be able to tolerate these prices.

Kraoma is a kratom vendor with a conscience. The company has an informative website and an astute understanding of what makes excellent kratom. If you don't like kratom powder, this brand isn't for you. And if you want super-cheap products, Kraoma might not be a good fit, either. But those seeking premium-grade kratom powder could give them a look.
