Over the years, more and more companies have emerged with dreams of making it big in the kratom industry. Some take an innovative approach with unique products, while others try to improve on what others have already done. In this post, we will focus on The Kratom Company!

This vendor has some impressive talk and speaks of a desire to revolutionize the kratom industry. So, let’s determine whether that is true by looking in-depth at the brand, the products they make, and if customers approve of them.

Let’s start by getting acquainted with The Kratom Company.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The information in our articles are represented solely as the opinions of the respective authors, who do not claim to be medical professionals. We are not medical experts, just kratom enthusiasts.

Get to Know The Kratom Company

First things first: these guys have a cool name. The beauty is in the simplicity, and it leaves you in no doubt about what they are about! And they get immediately down to business on their website homepage with a plan to take the kratom industry to the next level.

We hear of the vendor’s commitment to stocking premium kratom products and providing excellent customer service. Ethically sourcing kratom from the highest quality farms in Southeast Asia that know how to grow and harvest the herb is crucial to the first part of that.

The Kratom Company was founded in 2018 by a team of college graduates and kratom enthusiasts, according to the ‘About Us’ page on their site. We also learn they are based in East Lansing, Michigan.

I appreciate the time and effort The Kratom Company has spent on developing their site. They have answered a ton of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help customers out and have a comprehensive blog covering kratom products, industry news, legislation, and more.

The Kratom Company is both a retailer and a wholesaler - although you cannot see the wholesale prices without registering for an account. They offer numerous payment options, from credit cards to payment apps like CashApp and Venmo.

Showcasing The Kratom Company’s Selection

I found The Kratom Company’s online store easy to navigate, which made exploring their product range effortless. They have a solid selection of kratom powder and capsules but have also branched out into more potent extract products. Let’s run through each category.

Kratom Powder

Want to enjoy Mitragyna speciosa on a budget? Kratom powder is the most cost-effective product type and you can do pretty much anything with it. However, the sharp flavor and absence of pre-measured doses make it less convenient than many other kratom products.

The Kratom Company’s powder strains are all-natural, additive-free, and shipped in airtight packaging to retain potency and freshness. They stock the Maeng Da strain in red, white, and green vein colors, in addition to three other fantastic strains.

Not sure what to go for? The Kratom Company has you covered with a ‘Combo Pack’ and a ‘Pick 5 Bundle’. The former consists of three powder pouches (one green, red, and white vein strain). The latter allows you to choose five products from The Kratom Company’s store.

Strains: Green Vein Indo, Green Maeng Da, Red Bali, Red Vein Maeng Da, White Horn, White Maeng Da

Bag Sizes: 3oz, 8oz

Kratom Capsules

Kratom capsules solve many of the problems presented by powder. You don’t need to measure doses or worry about the taste, and you can effortlessly consume capsules while on the move. However, like other vendors, The Kratom Company puts a higher price on its capsules.

But there’s plenty to like about these kratom products. They fill each capsule with 500mg of premium powder, simplifying the dosing process. And they package the capsules in discreet, child-resistant packaging. This shows me that The Kratom Company cares about safety.

The Kratom Company uses gelatin capsules, reasoning that these are more shelf-stable than vegetable-based alternatives. It is a valid argument, but will inevitably be disappointing for vegans.

Strains: Green Indo, Red Bali, White Horn

Bottle Sizes: 75-count, 150-count, 500-count

Kratom Extracts Capsules

Concentrated kratom extract capsules offer more convenience for seasoned, high-dose users. They come with all the benefits of regular capsules while delivering much more intensity. And with The Kratom Company’s extract caps, you can get your dosage with far fewer capsules.

The vendor states that each extract capsule contains 100mg of kratom. I assume they mean 100mg of alkaloids, rather than 100mg of powder. This would make for intense effects, to the delight of those after a more powerful kratom experience.

While not stated on the product page, I would guess that The Kratom Company uses gelatin capsules here, too. The brand’s Kratom Extract Capsules are sold in a 2-count pack, but you can make substantial savings by purchasing a dozen packs at once.

Kratom Liquid Extracts

Looking for more control over your kratom extract dosage? The Kratom Company’s alkaloid-rich Liquid Extract would make an excellent choice. And this pure, all-natural liquid kratom product is non-alcohol based, so it won’t leave a stinging afterburn like many extracts of this type do.

Instead, The Kratom Company manufactures its 10ml Liquid Extract using food-grade solvents. According to their FAQ section, one extract is the same as 10 grams of kratom powder, which should make for hassle-free dosing. This Liquid Extract is recommended for experienced users.

Since the extract comes in a see-through bottle, take extra care to store it away from direct sunlight. More encouragingly, we see The Kratom Company using child-resistant packaging for safety purposes. This product is sold individually and in various multipacks.

Buying Options: Single Unit, 6 Pack, 12 Pack, 24 Pack

Is The Kratom Company Legit?

The Kratom Company has an attractive online store and makes all the right noises about selling pure, premium-grade kratom. But I fear this vendor has more style than substance.

I found nothing to back up The Kratom Company’s claims about creating high-quality products. I could not see any third-party certificates of analysis (COAs) for products, and the brand is not among the American Kratom Association’s (AKA) list of GMP-qualified vendors.

Without third-party lab results, there is no way to independently verify the strength and purity of The Kratom Company’s products. While they are far from the only vendor to fall short in this department, it is not something I can give them a pass on.

The Kratom Company says that it is not affiliated with the AKA but supports the advocacy group’s mission. That is good to hear, but that is not enough to prove they are legit.

I will conclude this section with a generous assessment. With the effort The Kratom Company puts into marketing and packaging, it would be odd if they didn’t care much about product quality. However, until they become more transparent, their credibility will continue to come under scrutiny.

What People Are Saying About The Kratom Company

The Kratom Company publishes product reviews from verified buyers with the help of Yotpo. Most products have acquired very high ratings, which inspires some confidence. But I am more interested in getting opinions from a completely independent source (i.e., Reddit!).

In a May 2023 post on r/Vendorsofkratom, multiple Redditors posted unenthusiastic comments about The Kratom Company. A few described the vendor’s products as “weak,” while others offered faint praise, calling them “ok” and “alright.”

However, The Kratom Company was discussed more favorably in a post on the same subreddit in 2022. Redditor u/IllPassion8377 said, “TKC is good shop kratom.” Other users talked up the brand’s Red Bali strain. There was also some appreciation for the vendor’s packaging.

It is not unusual for a kratom vendor to garner mixed reviews. This can happen due to inconsistent batches, different consumer expectations, and other factors. But what I read about The Kratom Company suggests this is a middle-of-the-road brand.

Are The Kratom Company’s Products Worth the Money?

I consider The Kratom Company an expensive vendor. They charge $24.99 for 3oz of kratom powder and the same price for 75 capsules. Considering they aren’t AKA approved and don’t currently publish third-party lab results, these are eye-watering prices to pay.

But I like the vendor’s ‘Pick 5 Deal’, where you can select five random products and get them at a 20% discount. This is a good offer for shoppers, who can discover whether this vendor is for them without spending a fortune.

Overall, given the lack of independent approval and mixed reviews, I don’t think The Kratom Company’s products are worth the money. If you want to charge that much for kratom, those are pretty much essential requirements. You can find better value for money elsewhere.

Final Thoughts

The Kratom Company promises much but is some way from achieving its goal of revolutionizing the industry. Until I see some third-party validation of this brand, they won’t be making my shortlist.
