Appearances often flatter to deceive in the kratom industry. Brands with gorgeous packaging aren’t necessarily making excellent products - and vice versa. But, of course, some vendors perform well in the product quality and marketing stakes. So, which boat is Tusk Kratom in?

Let’s discuss that question in this extensive brand review, which covers everything you need to know about Tusk Kratom. Keep reading to learn more about the company’s operations, the products they make, and the vendor’s reputation.

We have plenty to explore, so let’s begin with a look at Tusk Kratom itself.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The information in our articles are represented solely as the opinions of the respective authors, who do not claim to be medical professionals. We are not medical experts, just kratom enthusiasts.

Introducing Tusk Kratom

Tusk Kratom is an online vendor of kratom products based in Orlando, Florida. And the self-described “New Standard in Kratom” has made its mark on the industry with an intriguing product range and beautiful elephant-inspired packaging.

Upon digging a little deeper, we learn that the Tusk Kratom brand is part of Westman Products, LLC, which was incorporated in 2019. Westman captured media attention in 2020 as the parent company of Monster Vape Labs, which switched half of its operations to making hand sanitizer.

Given that varied history, making money is evidently a key motivation for Westman in the kratom market - not that there is any shame in doing that. And they have set out to do so by manufacturing an “ultra-premium, high potency line of products.”

In their brief ‘About Tusk Kratom' section, Tusk claims that its kratom products contain 30% more mitragynine than those of other leading brands. They aren’t shy to make a bullish claim!

Showcasing the Tusk Kratom Collection

So, let’s learn more about this vendor’s talked-up range. Tusk Kratom offers various product types, with powder, capsules, extracts, gummies, and liquid kratom all available in their store. I will go through them one by one.

Kratom Powder

Tusk Kratom stocks four varieties of kratom powder, all of which have links to the original Maeng Da strain. This famous kratom is known for its strength, or “pimp-grade” potency to use a direct translation. And you can expect magnified mitragynine effects from Tusk Kratom’s powder.

The green, red, and white vein powders stay true to the effects of the respective vein color. In contrast, Train Wreck contains a blend of all three strains - Tusk argues this makes for a stronger and superior experience. And there is no doubt that Train Wreck is a top-selling strain.

Tusk’s kratom powder is available in three bag sizes and multipack options. This is an unconventional way of dispensing kratom. But at least you won’t have to worry about keeping the powder fresh if you make a substantial purchase.

Strains: Green Vein, Red Vein, White Vein, Train Wreck

Buying Options: 30 grams, 100 grams, 250 grams, 30 grams (12-pack), 100 grams (6-pack), 250 grams (6-pack)

Kratom Capsules

If you enjoy kratom’s effects but are less enamored with the flavor, you are better off with capsules than powder. And you can easily make the switch with Tusk Kratom, which stocks all four of its powder strains in capsule form.

Tusk Kratom uses vegan capsules, adding 500mg (0.5 grams) of kratom powder into each - this makes for easy and accurate dosage calculation. All you need is a glass of water to help them go down. No mess, no taste, and no preparation involved - that is what I like to hear.

Red vein Maeng Da is associated with slow effects, whereas white vein Maeng Da boasts more invigorating properties. Whichever strain you choose, Tusk Kratom’s capsules are sold in three bottle sizes and multipacks.

Strains: Green Vein, Red Vein, White Vein, Train Wreck

Buying Options: 30 capsules, 120 capsules, 275 capsules, 30 capsules (12-pack), 120 capsules (6-pack), 275 capsules (6-pack)

Kratom Extract Powder

If you cannot get what you need from regular powder and capsules, kratom extracts can deliver that extra kick. And with a mighty 200mg of mitragynine, Tusk’s Platinum Kratom Extract Powder promises potency and long-lasting effects.

Calling this product ‘kratom extract powder’ is slightly confusing - and an understatement. This is not merely an alkaloid-enhanced version of powder, but a kratom-infused drink mix. That’s right - you can add the water-soluble powder to a beverage for more convenient and discreet use.

This product comes in a slender tube, making it portable and suited to on-the-go consumption. And Tusk takes away all that kratom bitterness by giving you four tasty flavors to choose from. The product strength and packaging both get a thumbs-up from me.

Flavors: Blue Razz Lemonade, Peach, Vanilla Coffee, Watermelon

Kratom Extract Capsules

Similarly, kratom extract capsules come through with that extra intensity. So, if water-soluble extract powder doesn’t take your fancy, maybe Tusk’s high-potency capsules will. These come in two varieties and are never made with additives, fillers, or other unnecessary ingredients.

“Why do I need kratom extract caps when I can take regular capsules?” you may be asking.

These ultra-strength products are appealing if you struggle to swallow capsules. By packing more mitragynine into each cap, you don’t need to take anywhere near as many of them.

Gold Capsules: These Tusk Kratom capsules contain high-quality kratom powder, with 110mg of mitragynine in each. Three servings per pack (330mg total mitragynine).

Platinum Capsules: The vendor’s more potent extract capsules boast a mighty 178mg of mitragynine apiece. Three servings per pack (534mg total mitragynine).

Kratom Gummies

The theme of convenience continues with Tusk Kratom’s gummies. While edibles are relatively costly, they have several upsides. They are portable, suitable for discreet use, contain a set dosage, and taste much better than plain kratom powder.

Each edible is infused with 35mg of mitragynine, the vital alkaloid in kratom. I could not see an ingredient list, so it is unclear if these gummies are vegan-friendly. But if that sounds like too much, you could split the gummy in two and sample a smaller serving.

Tusk’s mitragynine-infused gummies have a delicious mandarin orange flavor - and that citrus burst blocks out any kratom bitterness. This kratom edible product is sold in a 10-count blister pack - it’s a sensible packaging choice that keeps the gummies fresh, potent, and tasty.

Liquid Kratom

Liquid kratom is another sought-after type of Mitragyna speciosa extract. The reasons why are similar, with kratom shots providing more convenience, potency, and flavor than standard products. And Tusk Kratom has concocted two intriguing liquid kratom blends.

These are great for drinking as they are, but you can also mix them with a beverage. Both kratom liquids are available in the following four flavors: Green Apple, Peach, Vanilla Coffee, and Watermelon. Sold individually and in 12-packs.

Gold Liquid: Enjoy a liquid kratom experience with Tusk Kratom’s Gold Shot. Each 2oz bottle contains 150mg of mitragynine, with five suggested servings of 30mg.

Platinum Liquid: Or double the strength with the brand’s Platinum Liquid. These liquid kratom products come in 2oz bottles, with 300mg total mitragynine and 60mg per serving.

Is Tusk Kratom Legit?

Marketing-wise, Tusk Kratom does everything I would anticipate from a leading vendor - and more. They have a well-designed website, complete with detailed product descriptions and an extensive blog. And as I noted earlier, Tusk Kratom uses smart and stylish packaging.

Their website has a specific page for third-party lab results. Product pages also have links to the correct certificate of analysis (COA). Tusk appears keen to show transparency, which is half the battle, but I would like to see more.

The lab reports from Santé Laboratories look credible enough, with thorough purity and potency testing for products. But when I checked, all the COAs were dated in 2022. Since kratom consistency varies, the top vendors publish batch-specific results for transparency.

I don’t want to be hyper-critical, as Tusk Kratom is doing more third-party testing than many brands. But these differences determine a good vendor from an elite one.

The Tusk Kratom website mentions a GMP-certified facility. Moreover, they currently display a picture of the American Kratom Association’s GMP-qualified seal of approval.

However, as of June 2023, I found no mention of Tusk Kratom or Westman Products, LLC, on the AKA’s list of GMP-qualified vendors. Maybe they no longer participate in the program or haven’t been audited in the past 12 months. Regardless, something doesn’t add up.

Tusk Kratom Brand Reputation

Tusk Kratom has hundreds of 5-star reviews for products on its website. But since there is nothing to prove these are from verified buyers, they are unlikely to satisfy the cynical. So, that takes us to Reddit, a place that pulls no punches when talking about kratom vendors. And I found some seriously strong opinions about Tusk Kratom on various subreddits.

Redditor u/pizzaman667 did not hold back in a 2022 post on r/Vendorsofkratom, highlighting the association with Monster Vape Labs. Several users pummeled them for that, which I found harsh. There is nothing necessarily wrong with a company having brands in different industries.

I saw more merit in the product description concerns raised by u/fornax55. They noted that if Tusk’s extract capsules are as strong as stated, it would be immoral to sell them without a health warning. If nothing else, this is some food for thought.

But Tusk Kratom has plenty of supporters. In April 2023, u/callmelila wrote a post on r/Vendorsofkratom saying that Tusk’s kratom gummies were the best value for money of the three they had tried.

Are Tusk Kratom’s Products Worth the Money?

If Tusk Kratom’s products are as consistent, pure, and potent as claimed, I would say they are worth the money. Tusk charges less than $25 for 250 grams of kratom powder and a similar amount for a 275-count bottle. The brand’s kratom extracts are also good value.

It all comes down to whether Tusk Kratom’s products are reliably strong. Given the low prices and small purchasing options available, you can try this brand without taking much financial risk.

However, Tusk will not give you a refund if your only issue is not liking a product.

Final Thoughts

At first glance, Tusk Kratom looks like an incredible brand with a phenomenal kratom collection. After delving deeper, they still seem solid, but I am somewhat skeptical about a few of the claims. However, with affordable prices and relatively recent lab results, they may be worth a try.
